Россиянин стал победителем престижного фотоконкурса в Лондоне

Жюри отметило его снимок амурского тигра

Российский фотограф Сергей Горшков удостоен главного приза конкурса Wildlife Photographer of the Year, который вручает Музей естественной истории в Лондоне.

Горшков получил награду за снимок амурского тигра, сделанный в национальном парке «Земля леопарда» в Приморье, отмечает «Интерфакс». Всего на конкурс было подано более 49 тысяч работ.

Фотография Горшкова под названием «Объятие» (The Embrace) запечатлела редчайшего амурского тигра, который обнимает вековую пихту. Британские эксперты отметили уникальную эмоциональную силу фотографии.

Готовясь к съемкам, российский фотограф установил камеру с датчиком движения у дерева с запахами, шерстью тигра, следами когтей.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year считается крупнейшим в мире конкурсом фотографии дикой природы, его проводит с 1965 года британский Музей естественной истории. Россиянин впервые удостоен главной награды.

Taken in the Siberian wilderness of Russia, it shows a majestic Siberian tiger hugging a Manchurian fir.
